{"id":649752,"date":"2026-06-21T00:16:23","date_gmt":"2026-06-21T00:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/649752\/"},"modified":"2026-06-21T00:16:23","modified_gmt":"2026-06-21T00:16:23","slug":"three-men-dead-after-west-london-building-fire-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/649752\/","title":{"rendered":"Three men dead after west London building fire | London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Three people have died after a fire at a building in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/uk\/london\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" data-component=\"auto-linked-tag\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">London<\/a>, the London fire brigade (LFB) has said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The fire service said it received reports of the blaze in New Zealand Way in White City, west London, at 6.52pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Three men were rescued from a single-storey building by firefighters and treated at the scene by paramedics close to Loftus Road, Queens Park Rangers ground.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Two were declared dead at the scene and another died later in hospital, LFB said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Fifteen fire engines and about 100 firefighters were involved in the response.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">LFB assistant commissioner Pat Goulbourne said the cause of the blaze is under investigation by its specialist fire investigation officers and the Metropolitan police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">He said: \u201cThe fire involved a single-storey pavilion, with just over half of the structure damaged by the fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Goulbourne added: \u201cControl officers mobilised crews from North Kensington, Acton, Chiswick and surrounding fire stations to the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">\u201cFirefighters were able to bring the fire under control by 9.25pm.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Three people have died after a fire at a building in London, the London fire brigade (LFB) has&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":649753,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[59,57,58,50,56,54,55],"class_list":["post-649752","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-united-kingdom","tag-gb","tag-great-britain","tag-greatbritain","tag-news","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/649752","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=649752"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/649752\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/649753"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=649752"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=649752"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=649752"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
