Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are reportedly rekindling their friendship and it all started with an \u201colive branch\u201d Swift extended to Lively in the form of an invite to her upcoming wedding with Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n
The former friends \u201chave spoken on the phone,\u201d an insider told the Daily Mail<\/a> in a report published Saturday.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift (seen above walking through New York City on May 15) reportedly extended an \u201colive branch\u201d to her former friend Blake Lively by inviting the actress to her upcoming wedding. The actress called the singer one of her \u201cdragons\u201d<\/a> and sought her support for script changes as tensions flared during production of the movie.<\/p>\n Private texts exposed the extent of the rift between Lively and Swift, with unsealed court documents revealing the \u201cGossip Girl\u201d star tried to mend fences with the singer.<\/p>\n The revelations that came from the court documents were also enough to reportedly prompt another of Swift\u2019s formerly close friends \u2014 Miles Teller\u2019s wife, Keleigh Teller \u2014 to pull back from Swift.<\/a><\/p>\n However, a source told Page Six that the likelihood of Lively (seen here at a private party with Swift held at Lucalli Pizza in January 2024) getting an invite would be \u201cfar greater\u201d now that she\u2019s settled her legal issues.
