{"id":650339,"date":"2026-06-21T09:35:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-21T09:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/650339\/"},"modified":"2026-06-21T09:35:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-21T09:35:08","slug":"officer-woos-denies-broda-shaggis-death-threatens-legal-ac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/650339\/","title":{"rendered":"Officer Woos denies Broda Shaggi&#8217;s death, threatens legal ac"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nigerian content creator, Jubril Oladapo, popularly known as Officer Woos, has denied claims that he announced the death of his colleague, Broda Shaggi.\n<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago, an X user tweeted that Officer Woos, a close associate of Broda Shaggi, announced the skit maker\u2019s death in an Instagram post.\n<\/p>\n<p>The user wrote while sharing Broda Shaggi\u2019s photograph, \u201cOfficer Woos just announced the passing away of his brother Broda Shaggi via his IG page. May his soul rest in perfect peace.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the viral post, Officer Woos shared a screenshot of the claim on his Instagram Story and simply wrote, \u201cFalse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a Saturday statement issued by his legal representatives, Versed Attorneys, the content creator described the claim as false, malicious and defamatory.\n<\/p>\n<p>The statement read, \u201cWe act as Solicitors to Mr. Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi alias \u2018Officer Woos\u2019 (\u2018our Client\u2019), a respected content creator and public figure, and write this statement in response to false and malicious publications currently circulating on social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter).\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has come to our client\u2019s attention that certain unverified and anonymous social media pages have published claims alleging that our Client publicly announced the death of a close colleague on his official page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur client has never announced the death of any colleague, friend, or associate on any of his platforms. These publications are entirely manufactured and constitute a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.\u201d<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2171326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/woos-shaggi.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\"  \/>Skitmaker Broda Shaggi, and Officer Woos\u2026Photo Credit: YT\/ Broda Shaggi\n<\/p>\n<p>The statement also dismissed another viral allegation claiming that Officer Woos had been arrested over alleged drug trafficking.\n<\/p>\n<p>It read, \u201cWe hereby unequivocally state that both claims are entirely false, fabricated, and without any basis whatsoever.
