Aunchisa Utama rolled in her birdie putt on the first play-off hole to win the 2026 Dutch Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour, with Cork’s Sara Byrne the bets of the Irish after a fine closing round on Sunday.<\/p>\n

FINAL LEADERBOARD<\/a><\/p>\n

Thai star Utama fired a bogey-free round of 66 (-6) on the final day of action to win with a score of nine under par at Goyer Golf & Country Club in The Netherlands.<\/p>\n

After finishing her round, Utama was joined by Norway’s Dorthea Forbrigd at the top of the leaderboard as the duo headed back down 18 for the playoff.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old found the green in two and then sunk her 18-foot birdie putt to secure her maiden LET title and follow in the footsteps of Thailand\u2019s Trichat Cheenglab, who won this title in 2023.<\/p>\n

“I facetimed my dad,” Utama said afterwards. “It’s nine o\u2019clock back home and they knew when I phoned them. He was so happy. My dad is crying.”<\/p>\n

Norway\u2019s Forbrigd finished in second place, missing her birdie putt in the play-off, after producing a round of 68 (-4) on the final day.<\/p>\n

Byrne shot her best round of the tournament, a five-under 67, to shoot up the leaderboard into a share of 18th on five under.<\/p>\n

Dubliner Anna Foster was one further back having also carded an excellent 67, with Clare native Aine Donegan finished on two over following a closing 73.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, a disastrous second-round 81 saw Olivia Mehaffey miss the cut having started the day as joint leader.<\/p>\n
