\n The Male Health Club, based in Sunderland and launched after more than three years in development, is offering a subscription-based digital clinic designed to support men in managing hormonal health, physical fitness, and long-term wellbeing.\n<\/p>\n
\n Founded by veteran health clinician Beverley Ashton, who has more than 20 years of experience in hormone health and patient care, the platform seeks to address a long-standing gap in male-specific medical support.\n<\/p>\n

\n Ms Ashton said: “Too many younger men are going online to order cheap testosterone from unverified overseas laboratories, using basic automated AI platforms to manage their results and titrate their own doses.\n<\/p>\n
\n “This is an incredibly dangerous gamble.”\n<\/p>\n
\n She warned of the risks associated with self-medicating without clinical oversight.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Ashton said: “Without proper clinical oversight, self-medicating can cause permanent damage, including halting natural fertility and causing critical spikes in red blood cell count and iron levels.\n<\/p>\n
\n “AI cannot replace a real human clinician who understands the complete, individual picture of a patient\u2019s health.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The Male Health Club offers a digital subscription model that includes continuous clinical review, tailored prescriptions, and lifestyle coaching.\n<\/p>\n
\n The clinic encourages natural changes to diet, exercise, and lifestyle before considering medical intervention.\n<\/p>\n
\n Operating from a virtual office at the North East BIC, the clinic is run by Ms Ashton and her son, Richard Ashton, who has a background in professional physical training and coaching.\n<\/p>\n
\n Together, they have developed a web-based app that expands its offering beyond prescriptions to include holistic health education and support.\n<\/p>\n
