\n The UK\u2019s May local elections<\/a> could be viewed as the beginning of the end of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer\u2019s premiership, after the populist hard-right Reform UK party won big, with Starmer\u2019s center-left Labour party losing hundreds of seats.\n <\/p>\n

\n The Labour Party leader vowed to press on<\/a>, saying that \u201cwhat we witnessed with the last government was the chaos of constantly changing leaders, and it cost this country a huge amount.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has consistently called for a general election since May, most recently saying this morning<\/a> that his party \u201cdemands a general election to fix broken Britain.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Farage, who has been working in and around politics<\/a> for three decades, is staunchly anti-immigration, was the architect of Brexit, and is an ally of US President Donald Trump<\/a>.\n <\/p>\n

\n He has been accused of deeply offensive<\/a>, racist and antisemitic behavior throughout his teenage years.\n <\/p>\n

\n The Reform UK party aims to \u201crestore Britain\u2019s power, reward hard work, defend our culture, and put the British people first,\u201d its website says.\n <\/p>\n

\n The first four policies listed on Reform\u2019s website relate to immigration.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cIllegal immigration is out of control,\u201d the party says, vowing to \u201cremove all illegal migrants from the UK\u201d and \u201censure that anyone who enters the country illegally will be ineligible for asylum.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Reform also promises to \u201cdefend and protect British culture and traditions,\u201d \u201cdramatically cut foreign aid\u201d and scrap environmental policies in support of British farmers, among other policies, should it get into power.\n <\/p>\n
