Do you remember the Korean stealth game MUDANG: Two Hearts<\/a>, announced last year<\/a> at the Xbox Games Showcase<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Well, dev EVR Studio has gone bankrupt, and it\u2019s never coming out.<\/p>\n

Reddit<\/a> spotted court documents submitted to the Seoul Bankruptcy Court earlier this month, effectively meaning the developer is no more and the project has been cancelled.<\/p>\n

This game, which was confirmed for PS5, looked pretty cool \u2013 I described it as Metal Gear Seoulid at the time, which is a pun I\u2019m still proud of.<\/p>\n

The trailer looked a little bit like Splinter Cell<\/a> with a K-pop side-dish, which isn\u2019t an unappetising combination as far as I\u2019m concerned.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s obviously not clear why the developer went bankrupt, but presumably it lacked the requisite funding to sustain itself.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unfortunate, but it\u2019s just a sign of the times really \u2013 investment is beginning to dry up in the games industry, which is making it tougher for titles like this to survive.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
