<\/p>\nIf you haven’t yet taken a chance on Irish crime drama Kin, time is running out for you to stream the acclaimed series on Netflix. Kin will be leaving the streamer on 30 June, giving you just enough time to devour it. <\/p>\n
Kin stars Daredevil’s Charlie Cox alongside a host of Irish talent including Clare Dunne, Peaky Blinders’ Aidan Gillen, Belfast’s Ciar\u00e1n Hinds and MobLand’s Emmett J. Scanlan.<\/p>\n
The series focuses on the Kinsella crime family as they grapple with “shifting power dynamics while trying to safeguard loved ones in a bloody drug war that pushes their bonds to the limit”.<\/p>\n

Related: Best streaming services<\/a> Netflix describes the series as “gritty”, while over on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, critics found the first season to be perfect, with the show boasting a 100% Fresh rating. <\/p>\n TV Fanatic<\/a> wrote: “Kin boasts a tight-knit ensemble cast of Irish power players. The acting is superb and grounded, but with this cast, that’s to be expected.”<\/p>\n The AV Club<\/a> said it was “simply an opportunity to watch some gifted actors do what they do, very well, with a story that glides along in entertaining but unoriginal manner”.<\/p>\n The show is loved by fans, with an overall audience rating of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.9 rating on IMDb<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kin was first shown on RT\u00c9 One in 2021 before the BBC acquired it and brought it to UK audiences. However, Charlie Cox sadly put an end to the rumours in May during an interview with Collider<\/a>. <\/p>\n When asked about reports of a third season<\/a> set to begin production, Cox said: “I don\u2019t know the ins and outs, but I don\u2019t believe that that is true. I\u2019d love for that to be the case. <\/p>\n “I think the licensing difficulties may make it impossible at this point, because there was a lot of stuff after COVID, where the ownership of the show is confusing.
