Reigning Man of Steel and Hull KR star Mikey Lewis<\/a> is subject to NRL interest from multiple clubs according to reports.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old is having yet another spectacular season, scoring 19 tries and creating another 26 in just 18 games. Those stats put him well clear of anyone else in terms of try contributions and have seen him surpass his total of 43 during his Man of Steel-winning campaign last year.<\/p>\n

Understandably, Lewis\u2019 form has been catching the eye and now reports Down Under have claimed that he is \u201con the radar of several NRL clubs\u201d.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s according to a report from\u00a0Wide World of Sports\u00a0<\/a>where it suggests that South Sydney Rabbitohs signed \u2018the wrong Lewis\u2019, in reference to their acquisition of Lewis Dodd ahead of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

That report claims: \u201cSouths should have signed Mikey Lewis from Hull KR, regarded by good judges in the UK as the best half-back in Super League by a long way\u201d.<\/p>\n

Hull KR star linked to NRL<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to argue that based on 2024 and 2025, at least on the numbers alone, and the report then continues to highlight that Lewis\u2019 form has not gone unnoticed by NRL clubs either.<\/p>\n

The report explained: \u201cLewis has already played five Tests for England and is on the radar of several NRL clubs for 2027.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that Mikey Lewis is contracted with Hull KR until the end of the 2028 season so any move away from Craven Park before then would likely require a transfer fee, particularly given the playmaker\u2019s importance to the Robins.<\/p>\n

His name has been talked about plenty in Australia<\/a> and the Ashes later this year could be an opportunity for him to enhance his profile, should he feature.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of suggestions that Lewis might have to settle for a role off the bench with captain George Williams and Wigan\u2019s Harry Smith seeming to be the preferred pairing of head coach Shaun Wane.<\/p>\n

Lewis was limited to time off the bench as a utility last year in the series win over Samoa and that could be the case again this year, though his form might suggest he deserves a start.<\/p>\n
