It’s known as a rather risqu\u00e9 dating reality show with raunchy encounters, dramatic gameplay and racy challenges. <\/p>\n

But far from being put off, Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway revealed she would love to take part on Love Island herself and is even happy for her 20-year-old daughter to sign up to the ITV show.<\/p>\n

The mother-of-two shares a daughter Darcey and son, William, 16, with the late Labour spin-doctor, Derek Draper, who died in 2024 following heart complications from Long Covid. <\/p>\n

Talking to Digital Spy exclusively at The TRIC Awards in London, Kate said: “I would let Darcey do Love Island, yeah, but she says she will never do it!”<\/p>\n

And as for whether Kate would enter the famous Mediterranean villa herself, she quipped: “I\u2019d love to do Love Island but I\u2019m not really bikini ready!”<\/p>\n

Kate who helped to pick up an award for Celebrity Traitors along with her co-star Clare Balding, revealed she is constantly asked by other celebrities for advice on whether to take part on the show.<\/p>\n

“Loads of people have been asking me if they should do it. I’m trying to persuade Susannah (Reid) to do it. Alison Hammond as well.<\/p>\n

“We have a Traitors What’s app group which I can’t keep up with. I really want to go to Alan Carr’s castle – he’s clearly to the manor born. He has always been a legend.”<\/p>\n

And asked what the worst part was of starring on Celebrity Traitors, Kate replied: “From the get go everyone thought I was a traitor so I was very lucky to have survived as long as I did really.

“My daughter had just started uni and the very first roundtable with me and Nico. So one of those people in that stand off was the person that gave birth to her and the other was universally the most popular cast member.<\/p>\n
