Conservative talk show host Megyn Kelly<\/a> took a shot at Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/a> on Monday, after\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>\u00a0announced that she will be one of the temporary guest hosts filling in for him while he\u2019s on summer vacation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, MAGA gave her herpes, and now she\u2019s guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel. Note to the guests: don\u2019t get too close, do not do the hello kiss when you arrive on stage,\u201d Kelly said on her show, referring to O\u2019Donnell opening up about her cold sore in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kimmel signed off for summer vacation<\/a> on Thursday, announcing that a slew of guests, including O\u2019Donnell, will host his show. Ike Barinholtz<\/a>, Colman Domingo,<\/a> as well as summer regular Anthony Anderson<\/a>, and Jelly Roll<\/a> will fill in for Kimmel until his return.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a special treat for our commander in chief, I asked one of his all-time favorites, Rosie O\u2019Donnell, to be here to keep the hits coming,\u201d he said. \u201cYou\u2019re welcome. And all I ask in return, Mr. President, is that you don\u2019t do anything stupid while I\u2019m gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly mocked Kimmel\u2019s slate of guest hosts she called \u201ca litany of left-wing comedians.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJimmy Kimmel is going on a two-month sabbatical, and guess who he has sub-hosting for him? It\u2019s a litany of left-wing comedians, most of whom you don\u2019t know very well, because he\u2019s worried about his job security. So he\u2019s got to find people who are lesser than he is,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n

She went on to tease O\u2019Donnell\u2019s appearance scheduled for Aug. 17, with a recent clip of the comedian interviewing Jim Acosta<\/a>, where she said, \u201cI think Kamala won. I do. And I think that we\u2019re going to find all this out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly quipped, \u201cI was told by some reliable sources that election denialism is wrong and basically makes you an insurrectionist or a supporter.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

She then questioned whether O\u2019Donnell will be \u201coffering bits like this. Speculative questioning\u201d to Kimmel\u2019s \u201cever dwindling\u201d audience.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell, a longtime vocal critic of Donald Trump <\/a>and his MAGA base, has feuded with the president for years, recently calling him \u201can ******* and a liar\u201d earlier this month, outside the Tony Awards<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to Trump, O\u2019Donnell has also blasted Kelly online in 2018, calling her a \u201cspineless wanna be barbie\u201d after the conservative host targeted Jane Fonda<\/a>\u00a0over her anti-Vietnam War activism.\u00a0<\/p>\n
