Following the recent conclusion of Masters London<\/a>, where local talent had little opportunity to make a significant impact, Great Britain\u2019s roster for the Esports Nations Cup<\/a>, set to take place in Riyadh from November 8 to 15, has been announced by the Esports Foundation. Thanks to the caliber of its players and the points they accumulated in the ENC rankings (10th with 4750 points), the nation secured one of the 16 direct invitations to the main event.Led by a highly respected coach in Neil \u201cneilzinho\u201d Finlay, who recently guided Team Heretics to victory at VCT EMEA Stage 1<\/a>, the British squad has assembled the following six players:Jacob \u201cLime\u201d FosterEthan \u201cSevire\u201d StarkeBenjy \u201cbenjyfishy\u201d FishGeorgio \u201ckeiko\u201d SanassyTheo \u201cTicey\u201d CranshawLewis \u201cYaBoiLewis\u201d Hughes<\/p>\n

Naturally, attention is drawn toward two standout names. While only two members of the roster currently compete in the VCT (benjyfishy & keiko), they are among the most recognizable British players in the scene. A former Fortnite star with an impressive competitive pedigree, benjyfishy has successfully translated his talent to VALORANT and once again demonstrated his quality this season by winning VCT EMEA Stage 1 alongside neilzinho and Team Heretics. Since 2024, he has also become a regular fixture at international events.<\/p>\n

A solid roster despite a major absence<\/p>\n

The team’s other headline player is keiko. The 22-year-old made a name for himself during a successful two-year stint with Team Liquid, where he also captured a title in 2025, before joining reigning world champions NRG this year. The remainder of the lineup consists of experienced VCL players, including Lime, who has enjoyed a strong season with Enterprise Esports, and Sevire, who has consistently impressed in the French league over recent years. <\/p>\n

Ticey has similarly established himself as a notable figure within the Spanish circuit. Listed as “Player 6” on the Esports Nations Cup website, YaBoiLewis fits a similar profile to the latter three players and is expected to serve as the team’s substitute. <\/p>\n

Great Britain enters the tournament as something of a dark horse, possessing enough experience and individual quality to potentially surprise some of the competition’s more established contenders. The most notable absentee from the roster is undoubtedly Jake \u201cBoaster\u201d Howlett.
