More than 4,000 children are participating in Richmond Public Library\u2019s Kids\u2019 Summer Reading Club this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This free program encourages children to read throughout the summer, helping to maintain or even improve their reading skills. Kids can track their reading and collect stickers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not too late to sign up for the Summer Reading Club. Kids can visit any Richmond Public Library branch to pick up a reading booklet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Martha asked George why are you scared and sitting under the seat? George lied and said I\u2019m finding my glasses. But really he was very afraid.\u00a0<\/p>\n Review: I like this book because it makes me laugh when the author makes fun of the characters. I think it has good comedy.<\/p>\n Magic Tree House<\/p>\n Author: Mary Pope Osborne<\/p>\n Reviewed by: Julie, 8\u00a0<\/p>\n Summary: Jack and Annie have many different adventures in the magic tree house and the owner of it is Morgan Le Fay. She is an enchantress and a magic librarian.<\/p>\n Review: I like this book because it gives me lots of imagination and creativity. And it is a funny mystery book which I love the most. And it also includes real facts that Jack writes in his notebook!<\/p>\n The image I get when I read these is very artistic and humorous. And the creativity helps me include a lot of background items that are relating to the story!!<\/p>\n AstroNuts<\/p>\n Author: Jon Scieska & Steven Weinberg<\/p>\n Reviewed by: Eshaan, 8<\/p>\n Summary: In NNASA (NotNASA) GWFL (George Washington Forehead Laboratory), four\u00a0marvelous robots check\u00a0different planets if it is a Goldilocks planet when earth\u2019s climate goes wrong.<\/p>\n Review: I don\u2019t like it. I love it!<\/p>\n I love it because it is really funny, like the title! Instead of Astronauts, it\u2019s AstroNuts, get it, nuts? Also the names of the mountains: GWFL, TJNR, TRMGS, & ALBV.<\/p>\n The 52-Story Treehouse<\/p>\n Author: Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton<\/p>\n Reviewed by: Aaron, 11<\/p>\n Summary: This book is about fun\u00a0and adventure.<\/p>\n Review: I like this book, because this book shows a lot of creativity, like when the caterpillar ate bulldozers\u00a0and steamrollers.
