SUBSCRIBE to the Research Information Newsline!<\/a><\/p>\nAIP Publishing and Jisc have signed a new three-year AIP Fusion agreement designed to expand open access publishing opportunities for researchers across the UK while providing participating institutions with streamlined access to AIP Publishing\u2019s subscription content.<\/p>\n
The partners says the agreement covers 29 participating institutions and reflects the organisations\u2019 shared commitment to advancing open research and increasing the visibility and impact of scientific scholarship.<\/p>\n
\u201cJisc has long been a leader in advancing sustainable and equitable models for scholarly communication,\u201d said Kevin Steiner, Head of Global Sales at AIP Publishing. \u201cWe are delighted to partner with Jisc through this AIP Fusion agreement, which will help researchers across the United Kingdom increase the reach and impact of their work while supporting a more open and accessible research ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the UK\u2019s digital and data agency for higher education and research, Jisc negotiates sustainable publishing models and strengthens digital infrastructure on behalf of the sector. Working directly with universities and research organisations, its licensing services aim to expand access to scholarly content, accelerate open research, and help institutions maximise the value of their academic investments.<\/p>\n

The agreement adds to AIP Publishing\u2019s growing portfolio of transformative agreements worldwide, which now covers 384 institutions and consortia across 24 countries. According to the publisher, researchers at participating institutions will benefit from greater opportunities to publish their work openly, supporting increased collaboration and innovation across the physical sciences and related disciplines.<\/p>\n
