{"id":657750,"date":"2026-06-25T15:58:27","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T15:58:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/657750\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T15:58:27","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T15:58:27","slug":"woman-takes-on-golf-charity-challenge-for-bolton-hospice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/657750\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman takes on golf charity challenge for Bolton Hospice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Janet, who plays off a very useful handicap of 15, is playing four rounds of golf in 24 hours to boost Hospice funds.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  She started at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theboltonnews.co.uk\/sport\/sport_atom\/boltongolf\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bolton Golf Club<\/a>, where she is a member, at 5.30am and finished when she sun went down at 10.30pm.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Janet Rashleigh is raising money for Bolton Hospice (Image: Supplied)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  For the first 18 holes she was accompanied by her Springer Spaniel Rory and for the second 18 she was joined by the club\u2019s Lady Captain Pat Mackrill, who caddied for her and whose chosen charity for her year in office is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theboltonnews.co.uk\/news\/26196341.bolton-hospice-calls-public-back-urgent-funding-campaign\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">hospice<\/a>. \u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Her third 18 holes will be played at Bolton Old Links in the Bolton Ladies\u2019 Golf Championship qualifying rounds before she returns to Bolton GC for the final 18 holes.
