Conor Benn<\/a> is seeking world titles and the respect of boxing fans, and he has now been called out by a man who could provide him with both.<\/p>\n

After boxing in two consecutive middleweight fights against Chris Eubank Jr in 2025, Benn made his intentions of returning to 147lbs clear, hopeful of capturing a world title in the welterweight division.<\/p>\n

On his way back down, he stopped off at 150lbs for a catchweight bout with Regis Prograis. The unanimous decision win for the Brit secured his place as WBC mandatory challenger at welterweight. That was in early April, and there is still no confirmation of Benn\u2019s bid for Ryan Garcia\u2019s belt, with complications behind the scenes appearing to stall negotiations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, Jaron \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis, who challenges for the unified super-welterweight world titles on Saturday, has told talkSPORT Boxing<\/a> that he would be up for a fight with Benn at 154lbs if \u2018The Destroyer\u2019 is willing to return to the super-welterweight scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost definitely [I would fight Conor Benn], if it comes across the table then we can make it happen.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ennis seeks to capture the unified world titles in a second weight class as he takes on Xander Zayas in Brooklyn, New York, this weekend.<\/p>\n
