An unbeaten heavyweight says he is awaiting the \u201cfinal contract\u201d to face Tyson Fury<\/a>, whose second warm-up fight appears close to materialising.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old has already signed to face Anthony Joshua<\/a> later this year, yet the finer details of their long-awaited showdown \u2013 including a date and location \u2013 remain largely unclear.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, \u2018AJ\u2019 will face Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on July 25, while Fury seems to be on the cusp of announcing his interim fight in August.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 comes off a unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov<\/a> in April, which followed his second points defeat to Oleksandr Usyk<\/a> in December 2024.<\/p>\n

So despite fighting earlier this year, the 16 months of inactivity that preceded his Makhmudov triumph have urged Fury to pursue one more outing before the Joshua clash.<\/p>\n

In terms of an opponent, it seems a possible option is Nelson Hysa<\/a>, a 41-year-old Albanian whose victories have arrived against mostly obscure opposition.<\/p>\n

To his credit, though, \u2018The Albanian Eagle\u2019 boasts a professional record of 24-0 (22 KOs) and appears to be considerably popular among the Albanian community.<\/p>\n

Speaking with talkSPORT<\/a>, Hysa teased that an announcement for the Fury fight could be imminent.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is good news that I\u2019m hearing. I know that [my] team has spoken with Tyson\u2019s team. It\u2019s a pleasure to share the ring with Tyson Fury \u2013 I\u2019m waiting for the final contract.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know the teams are negotiating everything \u2013 the date, the venue \u2026 everything. All my fans \u2013 all my Albanian people \u2013 are waiting, and asking me when the match will be.\u201d<\/p>\n
