He has won stages in the Tour de France, Giro d\u2019Italia and Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a \u2014 joining an exclusive group of riders with stage victories in all three Grand Tours.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is special. It was also a goal at one point. I am proud of that. I took my first professional wins in 2013, so it has been a very long career at the highest level.\u201d<\/p>\n
His biggest cycling memory remains his first Tour de France stage win in 2018.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had always watched the Tour de France, for as long as I can remember, even before I started cycling. So to arrive at the final boss and take a stage win in the Tour de France \u2014 that was big.\u201d<\/p>\n
After the season, Cort does not have a detailed plan. First, he wants time away from the structure of professional cycling \u2014 and a long trip to Nepal is already booked.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not have any concrete plans. Now I am going to enjoy life and find out what it is all about not sitting on a bike.\u201d<\/p>\n
And the hotel room ratings \u2014 will they retire as well?<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not have plans for the ratings, but there will probably be some here and there. Not so many, but maybe they will come.
