News has reached out to the duo&#8217;s reps for comment and has not heard back.<\/p>\n<p>Cox, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1433011\/courteney-cox-shares-new-photo-of-daughter-coco-arquette-for-birthday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer nofollow\">mom to daughter Coco Arquette<\/a>, 22, with ex-husband David Arquette, was first introduced to McDaid by Ed Sheeran, who brought him to a star-studded party at her house.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I remember seeing Johnny and going, &#8216;Oh, wow, he&#8217;s intense, he&#8217;s got those eyes,'&#8221; Cox recalled on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pzD_HUsEXPY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer nofollow\">The Howard Stern Show<\/a> in 2022. &#8220;And he was playing the piano and then I thought, &#8216;Oh, he&#8217;s really, really handsome.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Although they didn&#8217;t exchange numbers at the party, Cox later expressed her interest in the musician while chatting with pal Isla Fisher, who passed the information on to then-husband Sacha Baron Cohen.
