He now has three caps to his name.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The 6&#8217;2 left-footed defender is back to full fitness after an injury-hit campaign, having struggled with thigh and calf injuries that saw him play just nine Ligue 1 matches for Lille in 2025\/26. He is under contract until 2028.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>The 26-year-old has three Brazil caps to his name (Image: PA)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Alex&#8217;s verdict\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Obviously one of the more reliable transfer rumours we&#8217;ve had so far this summer. Alexsandro can certainly be described as a late-bloomer, but he&#8217;s playing at a very high level at the moment. There&#8217;s no wonder that there&#8217;s so much interest in him.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He&#8217;s certainly aggressive and front-footed in his approach. He&#8217;s strong into duels but can also carry the ball forward into midfield really well, seeming calm and composed in possession.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Although a defined as a left-footer, his right foot is equally as strong when it comes to playing out from the back. It&#8217;s clearly an area Ipswich are targeting, amid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eadt.co.uk\/sport\/26232519.ipswich-town---callum-wilson-lloyd-kelly-among-transfer-targets\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">interest in Juventus&#8217; Lloyd Kelly<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  I think his profile would suit English football. The fact he&#8217;s played in European competitions with Lille and international football with Brazil only adds to his experience.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  His injury record from last season makes for difficult reading, however. He would probably be at the World Cup with Carlo Ancelotti&#8217;s side if he managed to stay fit last season.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  At almost \u00a326m, he&#8217;d be Ipswich&#8217;s record signing as things stand.
