Scots singing legend Susan Boyle sent a special message to Liam Gallagher <\/a>after he dedicated one of Oasis’ famous tracks to her at Murrayfield. The Oasis frontman, 52, gave BGT legend SuBo<\/a> a shoutout at their final gig in Edinburgh<\/a> on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

Liam was about to start their hit Stand By Me as he took to the mic and said: “This one’s for Susan Boyle.” Susan, 63, was quick to respond to his touching tribute as she took to Instagram in an Oasis top and her best bucket hat.<\/p>\n

The hat featured a picture of Gallagher with the title of his solo hit song and album “Why me? Why not?” Posing for the camera with two thumbs up, Susan grinned from ear to ear on her social media page.<\/p>\n

She gushed: “Thanks so much for the dedication Liam Gallagher. You\u2019ve made this old girl\u2019s day.”<\/p>\n

She even made a reference to The Poznan, a football celebration that has been taken on by music fans, and sees them turn their backs to the stage, place their arms around each other and jump up and down.<\/p>\n

It first started in the Polish City it is named after but became a favourite of Manchester City fans, which is the club Liam and Noel both support.<\/p>\n

Oasis fans jumped on the trend and now do it when the band performs their classic tune Cigarettes and Alcohol.<\/p>\n

Susan hinted she would also be heading to London to see Oasis when they return for their final sold out UK dates at Wembley Stadium in London.<\/p>\n

She added: “Hope to see you and the rest of Oasis at Wembley in September for a wee bit of Pozna\u0144. Big love to you all.”<\/p>\n

Oasis finished their incredible three night run at Murrayfield on Tuesday evening after playing gigs on August 8, 9 and 12.<\/p>\n

Around 210,000 fans flocked to Murrayfield to see the Gallagher brothers perform in Scotland for the first time in 16 years.<\/p>\n

Their comeback in the Capital saw Oasis beat their previous ground-shaking record at Murrayfield<\/a> as they set a new peak score for the most SEISMIC performance the venue has ever seen.<\/p>\n

While Gallagher had kind words for Susan, he had a very different opinion of Edinburgh Council.<\/p>\n

At each of Oasis’ Scottish gigs, he took a savage swipe at local authority chiefs.<\/p>\n

Liam was left fuming at council bosses after they branded Oasis fans as ‘drunk, lairy, fat, and old’ in secret safety briefings.<\/p>\n

Officials claimed that the concert-goers would be mainly \u201crowdy\u201d \u201cmiddle-aged men\u201d who \u201ctake up more room\u201d and will drink to \u201cmedium to high intoxication\u201d.<\/p>\n

Liam called out snooty Edinburgh council officials over their remarks on several occasions.<\/p>\n
