The project extends his relationship with Focus Features following Nosferatu, which broke out as a critical and commercial hit at a worldwide gross of around $181M. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film was also Eggers\u2019 highest-grossing movie out of the gate with a $21.6M 3-day opening and a 5-day of $40.8M. Nosferatu was nominated for five BAFTA awards including Best Cinematography, Costume Design, Hair &amp; Make-Up, Original Score and Production Design. The film also picked up four Oscar nominations, including Best Cinematography.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWerwulf also reunites the director with his frequent collaborators <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/aaron-taylor-johnson\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aaron Taylor-Johnson<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/lily-rose-depp\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lily-Rose Depp<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/willem-dafoe\/\" id=\"auto-tag_willem-dafoe\" data-tag=\"willem-dafoe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Willem Dafoe<\/a>. In the trailer, we see all three in a grainy 4:3 aspect ratio \u2014\u00a0one of Eggers\u2019 trademarks. Throughout the trailer, we hear an ominous voice describing a curse that has hold over their family. As the trailer ends, we see <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/aaron-taylor-johnson\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Taylor-Johnson<\/a> transform into a werewolf.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFocus Features financed the film and produced it alongside Eggers and Sj\u00f3n, with Maiden Voyage\u2019s Chris and Eleanor Columbus executive producing.
