{"id":664692,"date":"2026-06-29T17:40:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T17:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/664692\/"},"modified":"2026-06-29T17:40:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T17:40:08","slug":"roberto-stewart-exits-hightower-after-three-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/664692\/","title":{"rendered":"Roberto Stewart Exits Hightower After Three Months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Hightower President Roberto Stewart is stepping down from his role and leaving the organization less than three months after joining the firm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">According to a Hightower spokesperson, Stewart \u201cmade the difficult decision to step away from his role for personal reasons,\u201d and the firm intends to name his replacement \u201cin the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cHe remains committed to Hightower and will work closely with the leadership team to support a smooth transition,\u201d the spokesperson said. \u201cWe are grateful for his leadership and contributions to the firm and wish him all the best.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Stewart originally joined Hightower as its president and chief business officer in April to lead \u201centerprise services and support the firm\u2019s next phase of growth\u201d by overseeing Hightower One, the firm\u2019s newly established back- and middle-office platform.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Before joining Hightower, Stewart was the chief operating officer for Engle Martin, a portfolio company of BW Forsyth Partners, with additional multi-year tenures at AIG, McKinsey &amp; Company and Allstate, among others.<\/p>\n<p data-component=\"related-article\" class=\"RelatedArticle\">Related:<a class=\"RelatedArticle-RelatedContent\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wealthmanagement.com\/career-moves\/people-moves-larry-greenberg-joins-willow-wealth-as-president\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">People Moves: $6.9B Private Markets Firm Willow Wealth Names President<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Stewart succeeded Gurinder Ahluwalia as Hightower\u2019s president. Ahluwalia, who had served as the firm\u2019s interim president since 2024, is also an executive partner to the financial technology and services vertical at Thomas H. Lee Partners, Hightower\u2019s private equity owner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">In an initial statement after assuming his roles at Hightower, Stewart said his focus would be on \u201ccreating greater clarity, efficiency and alignment across Hightower One, enabling advisors to spend more time with clients and grow their practices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Hightower One is the firm\u2019s new centralized platform, originally set to roll out at the end of the year as the main wealth management platform for Hightower firms in its new Signature Wealth Division. However, Hightower Investment Management Head Randy Bullard said in April that the platform would eventually be accessible for all Hightower advisors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">According to Bullard, Hightower One would \u201cdovetail\u201d with the firm\u2019s Signature Wealth strategy launched last October.
