{"id":664752,"date":"2026-06-29T18:23:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T18:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/664752\/"},"modified":"2026-06-29T18:23:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T18:23:11","slug":"beta-3-for-ipados-26-6-watchos-26-6-and-more-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/664752\/","title":{"rendered":"Beta 3 for iPadOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, and more now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<img width=\"1600\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/iPadOS-26.6-b3.jpg\" class=\"skip-lazy wp-post-image\" alt=\"iPadOS 26.6 beta 3\"  decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple has released a new wave of beta updates today, including beta 3 for iPadOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Apple releases 26.6 beta 3 updates ahead of expected launch next month<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/apple-devices-lineup-liquid-glass.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1039039\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Summer is the one reliable time when Apple runs two beta cycles simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year that includes:<\/p>\n<p>iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, and the other major updates launching this fall<\/p>\n<p>iOS 26.6 and companion releases that will launch sooner as minor updates<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have beta software installed on your devices, there\u2019s a very good chance you\u2019re running the former rather than the latter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But if you\u2019ve chosen to stick with the 26.6 beta line, Apple has new updates available today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">iPadOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, and more have now reached developer beta 3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple typically launches its x.6 software updates in late July. If that proves true again this year, we\u2019ll likely get one or two more betas before the public release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, these updates are <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/guides\/ios-26-6\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">very light<\/a> on user-facing changes. They seem primarily focused on bug fixes and stability.
