<a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rory-mcilroy-northern-ireland-plays-1009470192.jpg?strip=all&amp;w=640&amp;h=426&amp;crop=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Scottish Open at Renaissance Club<\/a> and The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.<\/p>\n<p>A host of PGA Tour players will be competing in both the John Deere and the Scottish Open in back-to-back weeks despite the transatlantic trip.<\/p>\n<p>While lengthy travel demands are not unusual for elite golfers, talkSPORT.com can confirm that the PGA Tour has made the journey a little easier this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>READ MORE ON GOLF<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/golf\/1953667\/pga-tour-charter-scottish-open-jordan-spieth\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">As in previous years, the John Deere Classic has again scheduled a charter to take the players from Illinois to North Berwick.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The plane is scheduled to depart after Sunday\u2019s final round at TPC Deere Run.<\/p>\n<p>The John Deere put on the complimentary flight with the hope of boosting their field as the tournament sits in a busy run.<\/p>\n<p>It is sandwiched between the US Open and the Travelers Championship &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/golf\/4370506\/scottie-scheffler-wins-news-stats-travelers-championship-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a $20m Signature Event<\/a> &#8211; before the two marquee British tournaments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While a spokesperson for the John Deere would not reveal to talkSPORT.com who will be on the plane this Sunday night for safety reasons, there are 37 players listed in the fields for both events.<\/p>\n<p>These include defending Scottish Open champion Chris Gotterup plus big names such as Tony Finau, Ben Griffin, Tom Kim, Matt Wallace and Sungjae Im.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Tony Finau is among the big names who could take advantage of the charter\" height=\"640\" width=\"960\" data-credit=\"Getty\" data-img=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/tony-finau-united-states-plays-972622822.jpg\" data-caption=\"Tony Finau is among the big names who could take advantage of the charter\"   loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/tony-finau-united-states-plays-972622822.jpg\" role=\"img\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3<\/p>\n<p>Tony Finau is among the big names who could take advantage of the charterCredit: Getty<\/p>\n<p>Other top ranked players who will have seats available on the charter if they want them include Michael Kim, Nico Echavarria, Pierceson Coody, Andrew Novak, Eric Cole and Keith Mitchell.<\/p>\n<p>Aldrich Potgieter, Haotong Li, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Stephan Jaeger, Sudarshan Yellamaraju, Emiliano Grillo, Thorbjorn Olesen, Jhonattan Vegas and Erik Van Rooyen are also among those in both fields and free to take advantage of the one-off flight.<\/p>\n<p>The charter has been running since 2008 and means hassle-free travel for the players without the risk of lost luggage or lost clubs.<\/p>\n<p>It is understood that last year at least 35 players &#8211;
