Charity shop worker says there’s one gift that always gets donated to them<\/a><\/p>\nShe shared another clip showing her covertly signing the novel. She explained: “Join me for a sneaky Tesco signing.”<\/p>\n
She purchased a pack of pens from the store, selected one of her books and penned a delightful message inside.<\/p>\n
The message read: “I signed this in secret! If you find it DM me.”<\/p>\n

One person responded: “I love this – what a treat for someone! I’ve just devoured Famous Last Words on holiday, it was superb; could not put it down. Got myself a signed copy from Waterstones – lucky me!”.<\/p>\n
Another commented: “I just bought that book, it’s so good! I love your writing style! you are by far my favourite author.<\/p>\n
“How exciting would that be,” remarked one user.<\/p>\n
“Love this,” another person added. She didn’t anticipate anything from it, but was over the moon when someone purchased her book and penned a heartfelt message.<\/p>\n

The note read: “I just found your signed book in Tesco! I did a little weep of joy when I saw it and was super excited. I thought it looked like my local Tesco from the video so I had a cheeky look during my food shop.”<\/p>\n
This isn’t the first time that Gillian, 40, has given her fans a surprise. In July, she spent an hour in Tesco to see if anyone would pick up her book.<\/p>\n
As a fan was admiring her latest novel, she surprised them by revealing that she is the author.<\/p>\n
Gillian’s book can also be found in Sainsbury’s, TG Jones [formerly WH Smith], and on Amazon.<\/p>\n
