There\u2019s plenty to sink your teeth into over the coming weeks, whether you\u2019re a fan of murder mysteries, sport comedies or deep-dive documentaries on former glamour models. Too niche?<\/p>\n<p>Of course, there\u2019s <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/wimbledon?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wimbledon<\/a> and the rest of the <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/world-cup?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World Cup<\/a> to enjoy across the <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/bbc-one?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BBC<\/a> and <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/itvx?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ITV<\/a>, too. Me neither, but Prime Video is telling us anyway with this 90s pink-tinged prequel to <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/culture\/arts\/legally-blonde-regents-park-open-air-theatre-review-lucy-moss-1649642?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Legally Blonde<\/a>. Lexi Minetree, who plays Elle, is a doppelg\u00e4nger for <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/reese-witherspoon?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reese Witherspoon<\/a> (an executive producer on this), and the series sees the future lawyer once again dropped in a fish-out-of-water scenario when her family move to Seattle. The series documents Price\u2019s rise to fame (Photo: Lauren Maccabee\/Sky UK)<\/p>\n<p>No, this isn\u2019t yet another of <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/katie-price?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Katie Price<\/a>\u2019s ill-conceived reality shows (anyone remember the <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/culture\/television\/katie-prices-mucky-mansion-channel-4-review-a-makeover-thats-more-than-skin-deep-1425659?ico=in-line_link\" id=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/culture\/television\/katie-prices-mucky-mansion-channel-4-review-a-makeover-thats-more-than-skin-deep-1425659\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mucky Mansion?<\/a>), rather a classier four-part documentary series from Louis Theroux\u2019s production company. It charts Price\u2019s rise to fame in the tabloids, in which she was better known as glamour model Jordan, as well as interrogating why the British public are as <a class=\"post_in-line_link\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/culture\/katie-price-interview-what-harvey-did-next-bbc1-documentary-1483241?ico=in-line_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">obsessed with her private life<\/a> today as they were 30 years ago. It follows the Ingalls family \u2013 as seen through the eyes of a young Laura (Alice Halsey) \u2013 as they take to a new life in the meadows of Kansas, battling fever, wolves and fire. This time, the story is expanded to include the indigenous Osage people who have lived on the prairie for ever \u2013 a necessary and welcome update to a classic tale of the American dream.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday 9 July, Netflix<\/p>\n<p>The Westies<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"506\" width=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/SEI_303504185.jpg\" alt=\"J.K. Sweeney is a charismatic captain, but there\u2019s a schism between the old and young generation of the Westies threatening to upset his reign.
