{"id":667852,"date":"2026-07-01T11:45:11","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T11:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/667852\/"},"modified":"2026-07-01T11:45:11","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T11:45:11","slug":"care-home-in-bournemouth-given-outstanding-rating-by-cqc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/667852\/","title":{"rendered":"Care home in Bournemouth given outstanding rating by CQC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Woodside, in\u00a0Magna Road, was rated good for safe, responsive and well led, and outstanding for effective and caring sub categories.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Run by Tailored Transitions Limited, the service is a residential home for disabled people, some of whom have a learning disability.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  According to the CQC, there were four people living there during the April inspection which was carried out as part of CQC\u2019s routine monitoring of adult social care services.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Neil Cox, CQC\u2019s deputy director for adult social care in Bournemouth, said staff supported people to live \u201cfull and meaningful lives\u201d and encouraged positive risk taking so they could safely experience new things, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bournemouthecho.co.uk\/leisure\/travel\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">holidays<\/a>, paddleboarding and even having tea with a pony.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Relatives and healthcare professionals gave overwhelmingly positive feedback, saying staff went above and beyond.
