{"id":669168,"date":"2026-07-02T04:29:20","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T04:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/669168\/"},"modified":"2026-07-02T04:29:20","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T04:29:20","slug":"stage-details-in-full-and-route-maps-for-2026-tour-of-britain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/669168\/","title":{"rendered":"Stage details in full and route maps for 2026 Tour of Britain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">On Saturday 5 September, riders will take on one of the hardest stages of the tour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Starting in Helmsley, the race will head through Easingwold, Boroughbridge and Ripon before entering the Yorkshire Dales National Park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Climbing out of Greenhow Bank, riders will make their way through Grassington, Wharfedale and towards Buckden and Cray.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The peloton will face another ascent up Kidstones before heading to Aysgarth Falls. They will then tackle the climbs of Greets Moss and Grinton Moor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The day will finish in Leyburn, which is hosting a tour finish for the first time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Saturday 5 September, riders will take on one of the hardest stages of the tour.
