Scottish pop treasure Marti Pellow<\/a> is the latest celebrity to be spotted at a west end restaurant famous for its high-caliber clientele. Staff at La Lanterna on Great Western Road said they were “absolutely over the moon” to welcome Marti to their table this week.<\/p>\n

The Wet Wet Wet star is the latest famous face to grace the Italian eatery, with Glasgow Live<\/a> regularly reporting celebrity sightings, including football legend Sir Alex Ferguson, former Rangers favourite Peter L\u00f8venkrands and Celtic star Kasper Schmeichel.<\/p>\n

Announcing Marti Pellow’s surpise visit on Thursday (July 2), La Lanterna<\/a> said on social media: “What a truly special evening at La Lanterna West End!<\/p>\n

“We were absolutely over the moon to welcome the iconic Marti Pellow to our table recently \u2014 a true Scottish legend who made our restaurant feel even more magical than usual!<\/p>\n
