\n Marine authorities are investigating the incident, which is believed to have taken place around two weeks ago.\n<\/p>\n
\n Footage circulating online appears to show an unidentified shrimp or shellfish boat being pursued through the swell by two other vessels, before one veers sharply to ram its stern before the other then follows suit.\n<\/p>\n
\n A man on board the craft which was struck, which is seen rolling to its port side after one of the impacts is heard to shout: “You are getting arrested buddy.”\n<\/p>\n

\n While it is not clear where the vessels were at the time it occurred, a low-lying shoreline can be seen in the far distance suggesting they were on the Wash or neighbouring coastline.\n<\/p>\n
\n It is not known what sparked the clash, whether any damage was sustained by any of the boats involved or whether anyone was injured.\n<\/p>\n
\n The incident has been reported to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, the UK maritime safety regulator which is responsible for enforcing collision\u2011avoidance rules at sea and investigating serious breaches.\n<\/p>\n

\n It said in a statement: “The\u00a0MCA Regulatory Compliance Investigations Team is making enquiries into\u00a0the\u00a0reported incident.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Both craft which appear to ram the boat from which the confrontation was filmed display LN markings, showing they are King’s Lynn-registered, with one carrying the number 475 on its side.\n<\/p>\n
\n West Norfolk Council’s register of factory vessels which are permitted to cook shrimps on board names the holder of the registration mark as the Sunny Morn, which is recorded as being owned by Lynn Shellfish.\n<\/p>\n

\n A woman who answered the phone at the business, based at Lynn’s Alexandra Dock, said: “While the investigation is under way we’ve got no comment.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Asked whether the business owned the Sunny Morn, she replied: “You’re presuming…” before hanging up.\n<\/p>\n
