{"id":672633,"date":"2026-07-04T01:27:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-04T01:27:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/672633\/"},"modified":"2026-07-04T01:27:15","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T01:27:15","slug":"house-sitter-stole-from-homes-to-fund-lifestyle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/672633\/","title":{"rendered":"House sitter stole from homes to fund lifestyle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A woman who stole valuables from homes she was house sitting to fund a &#8220;lavish lifestyle&#8221; has been jailed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Ariana Rose, 40, of London, was employed as a house sitter at properties in Shipston-on-Stour and Southam, Warwickshire, in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">While working, she took items including jewellery worth more than \u00a335,000 and replaced them with fakes. Before they discovered her theft, one of her victims praised her and said she made them a meal and a cake for when they returned from holiday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Det Con Stather, of Warwickshire Police, said Rose lived a lavish lifestyle, funded by the things she stole from her victims.
