On Thursday, as workers carried props, food and pink carpet into Madison Square Garden, the pop star\u2019s longtime friend Blake Lively<\/a>, 38, was spotted with husband Ryan Reynolds<\/a>, 49, hundreds of miles away in Lake Placid, New York, at their daughter\u2019s horse show.<\/p>\n

Yet Lively and Reynolds weren\u2019t spotted by photographers, social media, fans or the hundreds of news outlets that have been reporting on the celebrations in the heart of New York City.<\/p>\n

The Madison Square Garden ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler and included a dinner speech from Girls creator Lena Dunham that had attendees \u201cgasping.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dunham \u2014 one of Swift\u2019s oldest and most loyal friends \u2014 reportedly quipped that \u201cAmerican football is just straight guys reenacting gay porn.\u201d <\/p>\n

The risqu\u00e9 gag drew \u201cgasps and laughs\u201d from guests, according to a Daily Mail insider, who added that Swift immediately declared Dunham a \u201cgenius\u201d after her speech.<\/p>\n
