However bogeys on 10 and 11 was the first sign that Power was struggling physically. A run of three double bogeys from 15 only compounded matters in spite of a par at the last.<\/p>\n<p>After his round of 77, Power informed PGA Tour officials of his decision to withdraw.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rte.ie\/sport\/results\/golf\/pga-tour-1\/28348\/john-deere-classic-908486\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LEADERBOARD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lucas Glover and Zac Blair share the first-round lead on eight under after posting bogey-free 63s.<\/p>\n<p>Zach Johnson, Lee Hodges and German Stephan Jaeger are one stroke behind in second.
