Oh boy, what a time for my bi-monthly article on delisted PS5 and PS4 games to drop.<\/p>\n

For the record, I\u2019m genuinely not trying to stick the boot in here, as I\u2019ve been tracking these all year<\/a>. I think it\u2019s important for us all to know when digital games will be delisted or disabled, so we can act before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n

Obviously in the wake of Sony\u2019s announcements regarding physical games, though, this article hits a bit harder this week<\/a>. Fortunately, nothing is getting outright pulled from the PS Store<\/a> this time, so that\u2019s good news.<\/p>\n

Anyway, without further ado, here\u2019s what you need to know about:<\/p>\n

DiRT Rally 2.0<\/a> (PS4): 8th July (Some Online Services Ending)
\nMadden NFL 23<\/a> (PS5, PS4): 13th July (Online Services Ending)
\nNew World: Aeternum<\/a> (PS5): 20th July (In-Game Purchases Ending); 31st January (Online Services Ending)
\nLet It Die<\/a> (PS4): 30th July (In-Game Purchases Ending); 31st August (Online Services Ending)
\nPS Stars<\/a> (PS5, PS4): 31st July (Redeemable Points Expire)
\nTearaway<\/a> (PS4, PS Vita): 13th August (Online Services Ending)
\nNBA 2K Playgrounds 2<\/a> (PS4): 20th August (Online Services Ending)
\nWWE 2K Battlegrounds<\/a> (PS4): 20th August (Online Services Ending)
\nNHL 22<\/a> (PS5, PS4): 31st August (Online Services Ending)
\nNHL 23<\/a> (PS5, PS4): 31st August (Online Services Ending)<\/p>\n

As I mentioned, the good news this time is that, at the time of writing, there are no full-scale delistings \u2013 just a lot of titles losing their online functionality.<\/p>\n

Remember, online services ending can result in Trophies becoming unobtainable, so if you want a Platinum in any of the above games, double-check the requirements quickly.<\/p>\n

In the case of DiRT Rally 2.0<\/a>, the sim racer is losing its Racenet Clubs feature, although all other online services will remain for now.<\/p>\n

This is somewhat similar to what\u2019s happening with Tearaway<\/a>, which is losing its Tearaway.me companion website in August<\/a>, which included optional creativity features for fans of the game.<\/p>\n

Madden NFL 23<\/a> will be losing online play, including its Ultimate Team modes, on 13th July. This will be followed by two other EA Sports titles on 31st August: both NHL 22<\/a> and NHL 23<\/a>.<\/p>\n

New World: Aeternum<\/a> was already delisted in January, but if you\u2019re still playing, all in-game transactions will be ending on 20th July. That game will be permanently taken offline next year, on 31st January.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Let It Die\u2019s<\/a> in-game transactions will be ending on 30th July ahead of its servers being closed on 31st August.<\/p>\n

Any points you earned from Sony\u2019s loyalty scheme PS Stars<\/a> will need to be redeemed by 31st July, as they\u2019ll officially expire on that date. You may have received communication from PlayStation about this via email already.<\/p>\n

And finally, 2K\u2019s two lighthearted sports games, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2<\/a> and WWE 2K Battlegrounds<\/a>, will lose their online services on 31st August.<\/p>\n

One other thing I\u2019ll hastily add here is that the PS3\u2019s store is closing in August 2026<\/a> if you\u2019re from Mexico, Honduras, or Nicaragua. Everyone else has got until July 2027 to buy what you want on the PS3 and PS Vita, though.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the full breakdown of everything you need to know for July and August, then, but I\u2019ll obviously update if anything else comes to light over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
