Adele has resurfaced in public after being spotted attending the UK Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

The star left the spotlight back in 2024, when she informed fans that she would be stepping back<\/a> for a while as she needed ‘a rest’.<\/p>\n

“I will not see you for an incredibly long time,” she said. “I just need a rest, I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now.”<\/p>\n

Since then, Adele<\/a> has largely kept a low profile, but appeared again at the Grand Prix in the UK<\/a> alongside a host of other celebrities<\/a>, <\/p>\n

The star, 38, is known to love F1 racing, and sported a t-shirt for Lando Norris, the 2025 world<\/a> champion for the McLaren team.<\/p>\n

Now, in a rare interview Adele has opened up about some of the things that she’s been doing since stepping back.<\/p>\n

This has included spending time bonding with her 13-year-old son Angelo, who she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki.<\/p>\n

In the interview, the Skyfall singer revealed that she and her son had bonded over their love of Formula 1.<\/p>\n

She told spoke to the chief executive of McLaren Zak Brown, as well as drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.<\/p>\n

“So my son is really into karting and things like that,” she said. “I don’t know. He just sort of asked about it a couple of years ago and I was like, ‘All right’.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know many teenagers who have a passion so I’m really trying to encourage it. He’s obsessed but I’m also obsessed.”<\/p>\n

She added: “But just like when your kid has an interest, you have to lean into it. More importantly, I think you have to be interested in it.”<\/p>\n

And Adele seems to have been busy as well, with the Daily Mail<\/a> reporting that she had been spending her time studying for a degree in English Literature. <\/p>\n

Adele had even previously spoken to her fans, reflecting that if she hadn’t found fame she had wanted to be an English teacher.<\/p>\n

Speaking to a Q and A with fans in Los Angeles in 2022, she said: “If I hadn’t made it singing, I think I would be an English Lit teacher. <\/p>\n

“I definitely think I use my passion for English lit in what I do. I wish I’d gone to university and had that experience, but I will do it online with a tutor.
