Everyone who witnessed the drama and spectacle of England\u2019s World Cup win against Mexico is now catching their breath \u2013 and not because of the altitude.<\/p>\n

Thomas Tuchel\u2019s side went up to 7,000 feet to hit the greatest of heights with one of England\u2019s finest victories on a night of raw emotion, winning 3-2 to set up a quarter-final against Norway in Miami.<\/p>\n

Jude Bellingham will rightly claim the main plaudits for his two goals and a blockbuster display, along with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who gave the finest performance of his England career.<\/p>\n

In truth, everyone played their part, especially after Jarell Quansah\u2019s red card \u2013 including Tuchel, who got all the big calls right.<\/p>\n

England supporters milling around the streets surrounding The Azteca were high on the elation of victory and on what they had just experienced in one of the world\u2019s great sporting arenas.<\/p>\n

The bandwagon now rolls on to the last eight against Norway, and the huge threat posed by Erling Haaland, whose two goals sent Brazil crashing out.<\/p>\n

England must find a way to stop Haaland, but they know they have potent threats of their own in the shape of Bellingham and Harry Kane.<\/p>\n
