A “proud and devoted dad” from Lostock Hall was tragically found dead in a hotel room.<\/p>\n
Graham Smith, 42, died at the Queens Hotel in Cheltenham on June 11 this year. The dad-of-two, who was born in Preston<\/a>, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n After Graham’s death his wife shared a heartfelt tribute<\/a> to him online along with a series of lovely photographs of him with their sons.<\/p>\n She wrote: “My handsome husband, much-loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend, but above all else, the proud and devoted dad of Corey and Olly.<\/p>\n “Graham was a goalkeeping extraordinaire, an outstanding cook, keen hiker, golfer, Bob Graham support expert and self-appointed General Knowledge World Champion. He was a man who was always factually correct\u2026 according to Graham.<\/p>\n “He was a master of the wind-up and a proud wearer of Crocs, often in places where Crocs really shouldn\u2019t have been.<\/p>\n “His humour, kindness, loyalty and ability to tell you exactly why your facts, directions or opinions were wrong will be remembered by everyone lucky enough to have known him.”<\/p>\n An inquest into Graham’s death was opened and adjourned at Preston Coroners’ Court<\/a> on Thursday July 2.<\/p>\n Senior Coroner Chris Long confirmed that the cause of death was consistent with Graham having sadly taken his own life.
