Sorry, Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a>, but Greg James<\/a> is fully dining out on the fact that he was at Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s wedding and you weren\u2019t.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the Grammy-winning musician tied the knot<\/a> with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce<\/a>, both 36, in arguably the most star-studded wedding<\/a> in history.<\/p>\n

Guests, including Ed Sheeran<\/a>, Steven Spielberg<\/a>, Hugh Grant<\/a>, Selena Gomez<\/a>, and 1,000 more, packed out Madison Square Garden in New York<\/a> City, with the world-famous venue transformed into a whimsical woodland for the multi-million-dollar occasion.<\/p>\n

There was a performance from Sir Paul McCartney,<\/a> the ceremony itself was officiated by Adam Sandler<\/a>, and the bride and groom were decked out in Christian Dior for their big day.<\/p>\n

It really was the place to be over the Fourth of July weekend<\/a>, with Taylor admitting in the lead-up that she wasn\u2019t going to skimp on invites, sending them out to \u2018anyone [she\u2019s] ever talked to\u2019.<\/p>\n

This included BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg, 40, who had refused to confirm he\u2019d been invited just days before (it was all very hush-hush, with guests having to sign NDAs) before documenting his trip Stateside on his Instagram Story.<\/p>\n

Rounding off his \u2018completely insane\u2019 weekend, the broadcaster managed to bag a last-minute ticket to the Brazil\u00a0vs Norway game<\/a> on Sunday, skipping his breakfast show the following morning.<\/p>\n

Posting updates on social media, he replied to one fan who asked: \u2018How\u2019d it feel to be possibly one of the only people in that stadium that went to Taylor Swift\u2019s wedding.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Really great actually thanks for asking,\u2019 Greg wrote back cheekily. \u2018Particularly good because\u00a0Leonardo DiCaprio\u00a0was at the match looking all smug there in a hospitality box but wasn\u2019t at the wedding. That\u2019s showbiz Leo!\u2019<\/p>\n

He\u2019s certainly made the most of his once-in-a-lifetime trip, admitting on Saturday morning after the wedding of the century that he was feeling worse for wear.<\/p>\n

Sharing a photo of a slice of pizza, he penned: \u2018I am currently experiencing the world\u2019s greatest hangover and unable to reply to the hilarious number of messages I have received over the\u00a0last 24hrs.<\/p>\n

Indeed, Taylor had vowed to invite Greg to her wedding while appearing on his radio show to promote her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n

The chart-topper, who got engaged to Travis last August, had already been interviewed by Greg several times before, most famously after her Radio 1\u2019s Big Weekend performance in 2018, when he told the sweaty performer to go and take a shower.<\/p>\n

During their chat last October, Greg joked that it was \u2018sickeningly gross\u2019 how \u2018in love\u2019 Taylor was with Travis, after which he said he\u2019d like the 6ft 6in athlete to \u2018do a wrestling move\u2019 on him.<\/p>\n

\u2018The way that he\u2019s going to do that as soon as he sees you at our wedding \u2013 that\u2019s gonna happen,\u2019 Taylor replied sincerely, leaving Greg stunned.<\/p>\n

He revealed his arrival in NYC with a photo of himself and his wife, Bella Mackie, 42, whom he wed in 2018, showcasing their lavish outfits.<\/p>\n

Greg looked dapper in a velvet suit, while Bella wore a flowing red gown and animal print heels.<\/p>\n

They joined several other British icons on the guest list, including talk show legend Graham Norton.<\/p>\n

Alas, Titanic actor Leo was nowhere to be seen, even if he did get a namecheck in the lyrics of Taylor\u2019s 2019 tune The Man, as she sang, \u2018And they would toast to me, oh, let the players play. I\u2019d be just like Leo in\u00a0Saint-Tropez.\u2019<\/p>\n

In the aftermath of the wedding, various snaps have been shared online, showing how MSG was unrecognisable with its red carpet staircase and foliage decorations.<\/p>\n

She added that Taylor and Travis \u2018laughed, and they danced, and they hugged, and they kissed\u2019.<\/p>\n

The ceremony is said to have included 20 minutes each of personalised vows from the newlyweds, while Taylor\u2019s brother, Austin, was her \u2018man of honour\u2019, and Travis\u2019s brother, Jason, was his best man.<\/p>\n

As the Blank Space songstress walked down the aisle, a string version of one of her own tunes played, while Travis\u2019s nieces threw petals at her feet.<\/p>\n
