Trescal has expanded its laboratory network and service portfolio across the UK and Ireland as it looks to strengthen support for aerospace and defence customers.<\/p>\n
The calibration services specialist said the expansion gives it greater regional capacity, faster turnaround times and broader technical coverage for manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs operating in highly regulated environments.<\/p>\n
Over the past five years, Trescal has added 14 specialised laboratories, including on-site laboratories, to its UK and Ireland network. The company said the expanded footprint supports work carried out in accordance with requirements, including ISO\/IEC 17025, AS9100, EN9100, FAA, EASA, AMS2750 and NADCAP.<\/p>\n
Trescal strengthens calibration and monitoring capability<\/p>\n
The expansion includes the acquisition of Facility Monitoring Systems Ltd, which brings additional capability in critical environment and environmental monitoring.<\/p>\n
FMS provides monitoring systems and associated technologies used in controlled environments, including cleanrooms and other settings where contamination control, environmental data and compliance reporting are operationally important.<\/p>\n
Trescal said the acquisition complements its existing metrology and calibration expertise by giving aerospace and defence customers greater visibility over the environments in which precision manufacturing, testing and compliance-critical operations take place.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s enhanced offer includes environmental monitoring, particle counting, cleanroom monitoring software and decontamination technologies, alongside its wider calibration, measurement, repair, qualification, validation and asset management services.<\/p>\n
Aerospace and defence services expanded in Ireland<\/p>\n
Trescal has also expanded its footprint in Ireland through the acquisition of four specialist laboratories, including Multiplex Engineering and Butler Technologies.<\/p>\n
The additional capabilities include RF and microwave calibration, supporting equipment used in avionics, radar and communications systems. Combined with on-site calibration expertise and support from Trescal\u2019s UK operations, the company said the move strengthens its services for precision manufacturing and regulated sectors, including aviation and defence.<\/p>\n

Trescal has confirmed it will attend the Farnborough International Airshow, where its technical experts will meet industry representatives to discuss support for complex manufacturing environments.<\/p>\n
