Hell hath no fury like a Swain scorned, as Dylan Wilson<\/a>\u00a0(Liam McCheyne<\/a>) is about to learn firsthand on Coronation Street.<\/p>\n

Betsy is all loved up with Dylan, something that her mum Lisa Connor-Swain<\/a>\u00a0(Vicky Myers<\/a>) isn\u2019t overly thrilled about.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s only natural that she\u2019s protective. Becky\u2019s had a typical adolescent experience for a teenager on Coronation Street \u2013 that is to say, packed to the rafters with trauma.<\/p>\n

Her last proper boyfriend, Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan)<\/a>, was a tragic victim of knife crime<\/a>; she was accidentally shot by her own mum during a deadly stand-off with her stepmum Carla Connor<\/a>\u00a0(Alison King<\/a>) psychotic escaped killer brother Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis)<\/a>. Oh and let\u2019s not forget the surprise return from the grave of her mum\u00a0Becky Swain<\/a>\u00a0(Amy Cudden<\/a>), who launched a diabolically deranged plan to split up her two mums.<\/p>\n

To cap it all, Betsy was the one who discovered Theo\u2019s body<\/a> on the night of his murder during Swarla\u2019s wedding. Who is going to pay for this poor girl\u2019s therapy?<\/p>\n

Turns out, who needs therapy when you have a slightly rough-around-the-edges but somehow loveable roguish boyfriend like Dylan?<\/p>\n

The tearaway son of legendary Rovers\u2019 barman and factory hand\u00a0Sean Tully<\/a> (Antony Cotton<\/a>) isn\u2019t exactly squeaky clean, after serving some time in juvenile detention along with Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) over his role in Mason Radcliffe\u2019s death. But he\u2019s been a rock for Betsy throughout all her hard times, and even though she\u2019s been offered a chance to study in London<\/a>, the two star-crossed teens are determined to make things work long distance.<\/p>\n

However, there\u2019s a ticking time bomb on the horizon<\/a>, as a new long term story has been teased that promises something terrible ahead for Betsy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Actor\u00a0Sair Khan<\/a>\u00a0, who plays\u00a0Alya Nazir<\/a>, recently posted pics on Instagram from on set teasing an ambulance rushing to the Cobbles<\/a>. Now we finally know why. When Betsy becomes seriously ill in upcoming scenes of Coronation Street, Lisa lashes out at Dylan. But is he truly to blame?<\/p>\n

The couple are love\u2019s young dream as they spend every minute they can together before Betsy moves to London.After a disastrous attempt at cooking breakfast for Dylan, Betsy asks him for some cooking lessons. Dylan shows Betsy how to make a bolognaise and assures her that they\u2019ll make their long distance relationship work. Betsy smiles and they hug.<\/p>\n

Then the next thing we know, an ambulance is pulling away from No.6 with its siren blaring. At the hospital, Ryan Connor<\/a>\u00a0(Ryan Prescott<\/a>) explains to Carla how he returned home to find Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor. At Betsy\u2019s bedside a nurse explains to a tearful Lisa that they are taking Betsy for an MRI Scan. What\u2019s wrong with Betsy?<\/p>\n

Dylan arrives to see Betsy\u2026. only to come running out of the room and warn Lisa and Carla that she seems to be having some kind of fit.\u00a0 Lisa and Carla watch in horror as the doctor tends to Betsy.<\/p>\n

In the Rovers, Dylan shows Brody and Lauren (Cait Fitton<\/a>)all the things he\u2019s bought for Betsy to make her hospital stay more comfortable to express how much he cares about her. <\/p>\n

But when Dylan arrives with the bag of treats he is shocked to be confronted by a raging Lisa, who blames him for Betsy\u2019s condition. <\/p>\n

An upset Betsy begs Lisa not to blame Dylan for what happened. When Sean suggests to DyLan that they go together to visit Betsy, Dylan shuts the conversation down leaving Sean suspicious.<\/p>\n

Later in the cafe, Sean is shocked when a furious Lisa turns on Dylan and rages at him for Betsy\u2019s collapse\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026and things only get worse when Lisa calls at the station and tells the desk sergeant she\u2019d like to report a crime.<\/p>\n
