According to some, Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a> makes the lives of people around him better.<\/p>\n

McGregor\u2019s old boxing coach, Phil Sutcliffe, recently heaped praise
\non the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> superstar\u2019s generosity. While
\nMcGregor is known for his flamboyant persona, the biggest superstar
\nin mixed martial arts history stays connected to his roots.<\/p>\n

McGregor\u2019s first encounter with combat sports was at the Crumlin
\nBoxing Club in Crumlin, near Dublin, Ireland. McGregor first turned
\nup at the facility at 10 years of age. While \u201cNotorious\u201d eventually
\ntransitioned to MMA, he never forgot his old boxing gym. Sutcliffe
\nsays McGregor walks with a certain sense of pride whenever he
\nenters the gym where he first started combat sports. Sutcliffe
\nfurther revealed that McGregor donates to the gym every year,
\npointing to a boxing ring as a sign of his benevolence. Sutcliffe

\narts Muhammad Ali, his fame is everywhere,\u201d Sutcliffe said on UFC
\n329 Countdown. \u201cBut he still wants to support the community. Conor
\nis one of the most generous men around. He loves the club. He walks
\nin here cocky as hell, still the same. But he is proud when he
\nwalks in here. This is where he came from. He shoots and boots us
\nup every year. The ring behind me, he bought. He is supposed to be
\nbuilding up two stories, making the gym bigger. He does so many
\ngood things. If you\u2019re around him, you just want him to do good. He
\ndoes good, we all do good. That\u2019s what he wants. That\u2019s the type of
\nperson he is.\u201d<\/p>\n

McGregor (22-6) hasn\u2019t fought since suffering a broken leg in a
\ntrilogy loss against Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> in 2021. The Dubliner is set to return to action after
\na five-year hiatus in a welterweight matchup against Max
\nHolloway<\/a> (27-9) at
