The transfers Liverpool have completed so far, as Andoni Iraola starts to shape his squad ahead of his debut season at Anfield\"Jeremy<\/p>\n

Liverpool will start next season with a new manager and some new players as the door is shut on the Arne Slot era and a new one begins under Andoni Iroala.<\/p>\n

The Reds splashed out on a club record \u00a3448m transfer spend last summer, but the huge investment did not pay off, in the short term at least, with a meek defence of the Premier League<\/a> title resulting in a fifth-placed finish that was only just good enough to secure Champions League<\/a> football again next season.<\/p>\n

After losing 12 Premier League matches across the campaign, Slot paid for it with his job<\/a>, and now it is the responsibility of former Bournemouth boss Iraola<\/a> to get the 20-time champions back to the top of the pile, and he will be given funds to make that happen.<\/p>\n

A couple of new faces are already on their way in, and there will unquestionably be more to follow in the coming weeks once the World Cup has concluded and players turn their attention to the possibilities of the new season.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Jacquet<\/a> has completed his \u00a360m move from Rennes and will be ready to make his Premier League bow after recovering from a shoulder injury that wrecked the end of his final season in French Ligue 1. And with that deal already agreed back in January, he will be joined by Iraola’s first signing for the club, https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/victor-munoz, who is currently on international duty with Spain at the World Cup.<\/p>\n

There have also been a number of major exits confirmed with the high-profile trio of Mohamed Salah<\/a>, Andy Robertson<\/a> and Ibrahima Konate<\/a> all departing the club at the end of their contracts. Following the World Cup, Konate will start a new life with Real Madrid, while long-serving Red Robertson has gone to Tottenham Hotspur.<\/p>\n

A new club for Salah is yet to be determined, with the Reds legend instead focusing on the World Cup with Egypt for the time being. And the futures of a number of other players remain up in the air, ahead of what promises to be a frantic few weeks in the summer transfer market.<\/p>\n
