Six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform are at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Staples added: &#8220;About five homes have been evacuated in the immediate vicinity. Obviously the business that has been affected has been evacuated.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">People living and working nearby have been advised to close doors and windows as the fire has generated a large plume of smoke.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Five homes have been evacuated after a large fire broke out at a scrapyard in Nottingham.
