Offering further evidence that equine speed is a major Florida export, Florida-breds rolled into eight winners\u2019 circles at four different tracks around the country Wednesday on a day in which there was no racing in the Sunshine State.<\/p>\n
The eight Florida-breds winners were among 42 starters at 12 different tracks, producing a win rate of 19%. Eleven other Florida-breds finished second or third to compile an in-the-money ratio of 45.2%.<\/p>\n
Among the stars on the day was My Noble Knight<\/a>, an 11-length winner of a one-mile $16,000 starter allowance<\/a> with an optional claiming price of $20,000. Trained by Tom Amoss<\/a> for Roys Mansur<\/a>, the 4-year-old son of Noble Bird won for the third time in six starts this year with one second.<\/p>\n Jose Ortiz<\/a> rode My Noble Knight, who paid $4.90 to win.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n For his career, My Noble Knight has seven wins, four seconds and three thirds in 23 starts with earnings of $228,340. My Noble Knight is out of Move Over Now<\/a>, by Mucho Macho Man<\/a> and was bred in Florida by Diane L. Perkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n Among the other Florida-bred winners Wednesday were Dance Step<\/a>, Slew Crown<\/a> and Lupo\u2019s Legacy<\/a> at Thistledown; Happyisashappydoes<\/a>, Cashier Check<\/a> and Immortallove<\/a> at Presque Isle Downs; and Neon Sign<\/a> at Delaware Park.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n
