Applications are now open for the 2026 ECOWAS Regional Business Incubation Programme, an initiative under the ECOWAS Youth and Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship Programme (EYWEP) implemented by the ECOWAS Centre for Youth and Sports Development with technical and financial support from AUDA-NEPAD.<\/p>\n
The programme is designed to identify and support young entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas through a structured incubation programme that helps transform ideas into viable and sustainable businesses.<\/p>\n
Eligibility Requirements<\/p>\n
Applicants must:<\/p>\n
Be between 18 and 35 years old<\/p>\n
Be a national or resident of one of the following countries:<\/p>\n
Benin<\/p>\n
C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire<\/p>\n
The Gambia<\/p>\n
Ghana<\/p>\n
Guinea-Bissau<\/p>\n
Senegal<\/p>\n
Sierra Leone<\/p>\n
Have an innovative business idea, concept, prototype, or project in the pre-launch stage.<\/p>\n
Eligible Sectors<\/p>\n
Projects should fall within one of these priority areas:<\/p>\n
Pharmaceutical industry<\/p>\n
Information and Communication Technology (ICT)<\/p>\n
Solar and renewable energy<\/p>\n
Agri-silvo-pastoral activities and agricultural value chains<\/p>\n

Project maturation workshops<\/p>\n
One-on-one mentoring and coaching<\/p>\n

Networking opportunities with technical, financial, and institutional partners<\/p>\n
At the end of the programme, grants may be awarded to the best projects in each participating country, subject to available funding.<\/p>\n
