Coronation Street<\/a> fans were left doing a double-take as Idris Nazir was spotted in classic episodes of the long-running show, despite only recently appearing in Weatherfield.<\/p>\n The new character made quite the impression back in May as he strolled into Speed Daal and forced two inappropriate customers to pay up, supporting waiter Brody and the restaurant’s co-owner, Leanne Battersby, who were struggling to control them.<\/p>\n It was then that Alya Nazir rushed over to give her cousin a hug. However, later, Brody caught Idris holding someone up against the wall, demanding his money. It wasn’t long before Idris was seen taking Brody under his wing, while also striking up a sizzling new romance with Leanne, despite Alya warning her about his reputation.<\/p>\n Click here<\/a> to sign up for more Coronation Street updates in our newsletter<\/p>\n It was then, at the end of last week, that Idris’ other link to the cobbles was exposed, as Abi Webster discovered that he was the landlord who had been ignoring all of her calls for months.<\/p>\n But some may not know that actor Junade Khan, who plays Idris, actually appeared in Corrie before, for two episodes back in September 2008 as Saj, a short-term boyfriend of Rosie Webster.<\/p>\n And it was recently that his appearance from 13 years ago made its way onto Classic Corrie. As fans know, past episodes of the ITV<\/a> soap air every week on ITV3, as well as being available on ITVX, and Junade’s appearance as Saj was spotted and shared on Reddit.<\/p>\n Alongside a screengrab of a scene from the Rovers Return, abigailbird wrote: “I spotted him a few episodes ago and said to myself, ‘That looks like Idris’. Now he’s popped up again, had to Google, and it is him Played Rosie’s short term boyfriend in 2008.”<\/p>\n Junade Khan briefly played Saj in the ITV soap before joining as Idris<\/p>\n Wooden-Kangaroo-2314 replied: “Good catch!” Haggisboy commented: “Honestly did a double take because of the noted actors who’ve put time in on Corrie.” Every_Psychology9 commented: “I knew it was him! When I saw him chatting to Kevin the other day I was hit with a massive Deja vu moment and I googled him.
