Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, recently travelled to Mathura, where they met with spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj. A video clip from the visit, which has since gone viral, shows Kundra emotionally offering one of his kidneys to the guru, who graciously thanked him for the heartfelt gesture.<\/p>\n

In the video, Shetty and Kundra are seen listening intently<\/a> as Premanand Maharaj shares that both of his kidneys have failed, and that he has been living with the condition for the past ten years. Touched by the revelation, Kundra responded with an unexpected offer, leaving Shetty visibly surprised.<\/p>\n

Kundra said, \u201cI\u2019ve been following you for the past two years. I have no questions, because your videos always address any doubts or fears I might have. You are an inspiration to so many. I\u2019m aware of your health condition, and if there\u2019s anything I can do to help, one of my kidneys is yours.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Premanand Maharaj replied, \u201cIt is enough for me that you remain happy. Until the time comes, we do not leave this world over a kidney. But I wholeheartedly accept your goodwill.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the visit, Shetty also asked the guru<\/a> about the practice of chanting ‘Radha’, to which he explained that it could help her overcome personal difficulties.<\/p>\n

The video of the visit has surfaced at a time when both Shetty and Kundra are facing serious allegations involving a financial dispute of Rs 60 crore<\/a>. They have been accused of allegedly defrauding businessman Deepak Kothari of more than Rs 60 crore in a matter that reportedly took place between 2015 and 2023.<\/p>\n

According to ANI, advocate Prashant Patil issued a statement on behalf of the couple, stating, \u201cMy clients have been informed by certain segments of the electronic and print media that an alleged case has been registered against them with the Economic Offences Wing in Mumbai. At the outset, my clients deny all allegations, which are purely civil in nature and have already been adjudicated by the NCLT, Mumbai, on 4 October 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n

The solicitor further described the case as “baseless” and “malicious”, adding, \u201cThe company in question has already received a liquidation order, which has also been submitted to the police. The appointed chartered accountants have visited the police station on more than 15 occasions over the past year, providing all the necessary evidence supporting my clients’ claims. This is nothing more than a vindictive attempt to malign my clients, and we are taking appropriate legal action against those responsible.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the professional front, Shilpa Shetty was last seen in the action series ‘Indian Police Force’, which is available on Prime Video.<\/p>\n
