St Helens have confirmed their 21-man squad for their clash with Toulouse Olympique on Sunday, and it\u2019s a grim read with just X of their first 17 players available.<\/p>\n

The Red Vee have had injuries throughout 2026, but they are arguably enduring their worst period yet, with a whole heap of first team players on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

The likes of Matty Lees and Jonny Lomax were all long-term absentees, but they are now joined by Alex Walmsley and George Delaney, who will miss this week\u2019s tie due to failed HIAs.<\/p>\n

David Klemmer and Daryl Clark are both longer-term injuries, with the latter said to be out for eight weeks with an ankle problem.<\/p>\n

Deon Cross and Matt Whitley are both out for the season, whilst there are plenty more players unavailable for Paul Rowley, meaning he has been forced to call up a number of youth players.<\/p>\n

As well as academy talents, the side have also recruited back rower Jed Cartwright. He joins on an initial month\u2019s loan from Hull FC, with a view of making that switch permanent until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Former loanees Bill Leyland and Jordan Dezaria are unavailable this week due to being named in Hull KR\u2019s 21-man squad.<\/p>\n

St Helens v Toulouse Olympique team news<\/p>\n

In total, there are X changes from last week\u2019s side, with the aforementioned Walmsley, Clark, Klemmer and Delaney all dropping out.<\/p>\n

Cartwright joins Chris Matagi, Matty Evans and Cole Marsh in replacing the quartet in the initial 21.<\/p>\n

Opponents Toulouse, meanwhile, have made two changes, with French international Louis Grossemy set for a debut. Ellis Gillam also returns to the side.<\/p>\n
