The company is now leading the Chinese smartphone market at present with a 21% share.<\/p>\n<p>Counterpoint has <a href=\"https:\/\/counterpointresearch.com\/en\/insights\/china-smartphone-sales-decline-13-percent-yoy-618-shopping-period-huawei-bucks-trend\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">released<\/a> its latest data on the China 618 shopping fest 2026 and called Huawei the only brand in the phone market achieving growth in this segment.<\/p>\n<p>Huawei has obtained 19% year-on-year growth in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-global-smartphone-sales-week-20th\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">smartphone sales<\/a> during the 618 shopping festival. The OEM accounts for 21% of the market share, up from 16% gained last year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the entire Chinese smartphone sales have dipped by 13% YoY in this time following the price adjustments of brands over rising memory and component costs.<\/p>\n<p>The report states that Huawei is experiencing this sharp jump amid ongoing market challenges due to devices like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-enjoy-90-pro-max-tops-all-iphone-17-models-in-sales\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Enjoy 90 Pro Max<\/a> and the standard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-mate-80-series-sales-7-million-units\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mate 80<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy 90 Pro Max has shown a strong sales performance in the market with an excellent pricing strategy. Counterpoint says:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuawei led the market with a 21% share, and it was the only major brand to achieve positive YoY growth during the 618 period. Enjoy 90 Pro Max delivered significantly strong performance and became Huawei\u2019s best-selling model, driven by its exceptional battery life and strong value-for-money positioning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Apple ranked second in the latest listing \u2013 thanks to its discounts ranging up to 2000 yuan for the iPhone 17 Pro series. Trade-in incentives and price cuts led to stronger sales. Although the firm experienced a loss of 9% year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p>OPPO is in the third spot with 18% of the market share \u2013 same as Apple, but slid by 12% YoY in sales. The fourth rank goes to Vivo with 17% market share and a 16% loss in shipments.
